The Stompdown legacy
We Built
The Room.
The Stompdown began in Tallahassee when founder Djuan Ballinger created a step show platform to showcase and highlight step teams. What began with a need for inclusion grew into a national platform for excellence, culture and community.

The original step-off evolved into The Stompdown—a larger platform rooted in access, competition and opportunity.
